I realize that it's late notice, and I've not had any takers yet, but I'm still looking for three/four people to play a Mouse Guard one-shot tomorrow. I'd like to run this adventure through its paces once before I have to run it at the Endgame Minicon. Experience not necessary, only interest. If you're not available/interested, do you know anyone you might send my way?

Ok. Off to grab nibbles. I love nibbles!

...Mouse Guard is a stripped down version if Burning Wheel, and, I'm told a good introduction to many concepts therein. ...if that helps.

Below the cut is the updated information I posted for the newly changing Thursday-night Star Wars game. We're transitioning from the traditional ragtag Rebel campaign into the following:

I'm still looking to run Star Wars: A Thin Line on Thursdays at Endgame. Unfortunately, as yet, nobody has been able to come by and play yet. Nonetheless, I'll be at Endgame to pimp the setting, talk about character generation and perhaps run an introductory adventure for any players ready to do so.

If there's anyone else who might be interested in playing, and is free on Thursday evenings to be in Oakland, do give me a shout, because I'd love to net a couple more players.

Cheers,

~B

p.s. I have this wicked cool idea for the in-game use of all those SW starship minis I've been collecting.

In light of the expectation that I hope to run a GURPS Discworld game at DunDraCon, I suppose that I should create a Discworld specific filter. I appreciate all of the support and advice I've received so far. I am definitely going to have a lot of fun working on this one. Some folk may wish to offer advice and/or laugh at my poor attempts to put together an adventure that does justice to Pratchett to get the goods. Of course there are others, those who could not care less, whether it be about gaming, Pratchett, the confluence of the two, silly gags, or whatever.1 Also, there might be those who think they might enjoy playing in such a game and would prefer not to have heard all the jokes beforehand, and therefore wish to be unaware of the plot before I hit them over the head with it like a cold ham.2 A filter will allow those who wish to, to watch this train wreck, while also allowing others to avoid the unneccesary3 cluttering of their F-lists4.

This will be my very first opt-in filter, so folk will have to let me know if they want to be allowed inside the curtain that filters out the others.

Incidentally, there will likely be a playtest or two before DDC, so feel free to bear that in mind.
