So, they're showing the first three episodes of Firefly at the Parkway Speakeasy Theater tonight at 2130. I'm going to be there. In line. Much earlier than I oughtta. I suspect that [livejournal.com profile] ca_snowflake will be with me. Also, I look forward to seeing [livejournal.com profile] zyxwvut and [livejournal.com profile] zahraa there. Is anyone else coming??

*CRY* Why do I have to be across the country when they do awesome stuff like that? In the few days I've been here, I've also missed the Lord of the Rings trilogy at the Castro, and Jesus Christ Superstar at the Orpheum. I'm sure you will have enough fun for all of us, though!

Are they planning on showing the rest, too? If not, I might just have to host a viewing chez moi when I'm back in town...

Okay, the important thing is that, despite the fact that the show is at 9:15, the box office opens at 5:45 (first show tonight at 6:30). Someone needs to buy the tickets at that time, and we can stake a claim in the line for seating later in the evening.

Yes, do count me in. I was going to go to sword practice, but I realized I had to take a sick day yesterday because I have a neck spasm. So, if I can't even sit at a desk and type stuff, how on earth would I think that I could yank my arm around with an English sword. Sheesh.

So, yes, I do want to be there!! Let us know when you are going to queue up. I may join you to keep you company and be social.

I owe it all to you, hon. Seriously. I enjoyed the movie and loved the hell out of the series. (Okay, I owe the second part to my friend, Earin, who was kind enough to let me fry my retinas on Christmas 2005 watching one DVD after the other.)
