Battles with Integrity

The weekend after Thanksgiving, the Decemberists are returning to do four shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco.

Tickets go on sale on Sunday morning, but if you have friends (and I might be one of them), there's a link to a KFOG presale that could be emailed to you. Bad fan that I am, I don't know all the details, but I've heard that the forthcoming album is called "The Long and the Short", and they're apparently doing two programs (the Long, and then the Short), so I'm excited to see both shows (and that's also why they have four dates).

Y'all should see the show(s)¹.

¹Provided of course you don't find Colin Meloy's voice annoyingly whiny, in which case you shouldn't see the show.

I am going to see the Decemberists at the Warfield on 19 October for the Rout of the Patagon Tour. ca_snowflake, basmati, and byronium are coming with me. Don't you want to come, too?
