The Tea-bagger's Paradise!

59 seconds long, and a hoot.

Speak on, brother!

This is pretty much always what I think of when I think of libertarianism. I know that it's a flawed model, that it's an example of a failed state with a lack of respect for human life, that comparing it to a more libertarian USA is apples and oranges, etc.

Even so, when one of my friends talks about libertarianism, I always think, "Hey, weren't you a nerd who got picked on by the jocks in grade school?" I don't want "survival of the fittest" to be the model for my society, since Darwin (by way of Tennyson) explained pretty well how that referred to "nature, red in tooth and claw."

Fuck libertarianism. =)

... and now you have Cholera.

See, but here all it would take is some good old fashion entrepreneurial spirit to start your own pirate business, and you too could be a multi-millionaire success!

Free trade and stolen Russian Federation tanks go hand in hand, my friends!

YAY.

(Also, now I'm forever going to associate Ron Paul with teabagging. Um.)

What I mean is,
Take it easy —
But take it.

— Pete Seeger, “Talking Union”

“Private property” is a social concept dependent upon State enforcement. Libertarians balk at being taxed to pay for public health, education, and the social services required to mop up after the Invisible Hand has run amok — but they’re happy to coerce me to pay taxes to support the armed force that protects their investments, their property, and keeps their labor pools in line. All their fine talk about “principle” is so much bullshit.
