I was involved in a hunting accident where I pulled the trigger and *two* lawyers went to the emergency room, and they both apologized to me for having done the stupid stupid things they had done.

The two lawyers were out on opening day without hunting licenses, without permits for their guns, and without the legally-mandated two-hundred square inches (minimum) of blaze orange. They hid in a duck blind and the first I knew they were there was when they screamed in pain when my birdshot entered their flesh -- one in the face and one in the ass.

It took a few years for me to go hunting again with anything more threatening than a camera. I'm better, now, though.

My father tells the story with pride about the time his son got the bag limit of lawyers on opening day. :-)

The bag limit was only two? This must have been quite a few years back.

Seriously, they should have found a better make-out place than a duckblind during hunting season.
