So 14 will be overturned the first election we have after we have no choice but to vote on a Republican v. Republican or Democrat v. Democrat ticket, right?

I was explaining the propositions to Ben last night before voting. I started reading the premise of 14 to him and he was all, "ooh! that sounds great!" ... but then I read him the other half and he said, "um, never mind." Somehow I think people didn't read more than the first half.
